At the end of the month, we took a trip to Orlando for “Realtime.” This is an FCA event held every three years where all FCA staff (even international staff) come together to meet as one and recharge. Our president, Shane Williamson, shared with us the new strategy for ministry within FCA—the E3 strategy. “E3” stands for “Engage, Equip, and Empower.” It is our goal as FCA staff to garner athletes’ interest in the Gospel and engage them, then equip them by teaching God’s word and showing them how to live like Jesus did, and finally by equipping them to go out and lead others to also believe and accept the Gospel. After leaving this trip, we were recharged and ready to get back to Southern California to make an impact on the athletes around us!
