With schools back in session again, Heather is back to ministering on local Gardena High School’s campus. Last year, she teamed up with fellow staff member Diana Banjo to run the ministry on this campus, but this year she has full reign. The first “huddle” (meeting during lunch) was small, but the hope is to continue to grow FCA on this campus and get more and more kids involved and interested. They start each huddle with some type of game or icebreaker, and then Heather, a student leader, or a guest speaker will share a message for the day. Each huddle ends with pizza handed out to the students. Sometimes they’ll bring in Chick-fil-A or something a little different. Heather saw God move on this campus last year, and she is praying for even more light to be brought to Gardena this school year. Stay tuned!
